6-part Netflix thriller released in 2025 and based on the novel by Harlan Coben.
The story centres around leading female detective Kat Donovan who stumbles across her ex-fiance Josh on a dating app, 11 years after he vanished without explanation. His reappearance forces her to re-visit long-buried secrets from her past, including the mystery shrouding the murder of her father, also a top police officer. Simultaneously she is called upon to investigate two major missing persons cases, including that of a single mum whose teenage son tracks down Kat to help him find her.
Brigid Zengeni had a major role in the show playing Kat's mother, Odette who has kept some of the secrets surrounding her husband's death from Kat. Cyril Nri also had a significant role in the final episode of the series, playing Parker.
The impressive cast includes Rosalind Eleazar as Kat Donovan, Ashley Waters as Josh and Jessica Plummer as Kat's best friend Stacey. Lenny Henry plays Kat's father Clint Donovan, Steve Pemberton plays sinister dog breeder Titus, Lisa Faulkner plays missing mum Dana Fells and James Nesbitt plays Calligan, a much-feared gangster. Richard Armitage, who is a regular in Harlan Coben thrillers, stars as fellow detective Ellis Stagger.
