1999 romantic period drama film set in 1820s Russia, based on Alexander Pushkin's novel and starring Liv Tyler and Ralph Fiennes. Directed by Martha Fiennes (Ralph's sister) in her directorial debut. Onegin is a Russian socialite in St Petersburg who inherits a huge country estate where he meets Tatyana who falls in love with him yet is rejected by him.
