Long running Channel 4 comedy drama series about the residents of the rough Chatsworth estate in Manchester written by Paul Abbott. The series centred around the Gallagher family and their alcoholic patriach Frank Gallagher. Ran for 11 seasons and starred a range of top British actors including James McAvoy, Anne Marie Duff and David Threlfall. Amy Beth Hayes starred as 'Clem' in Series 9. The series won 'Best Drama' at the 2005 BAFTAs and was also nominated a further 11 times over its 10 year run.
