Apple TV+ 8-episode period drama series based on the unfinished novel by Edith Wharton.
The show is set in the late nineteenth century and revolves around five wealthy and ambitious American women, daughters of the American nouveau riche, and their experiences in London high society. The women arrive in London during debutante season with the ambition of finding suitable husbands. Their extroverted nature contrasts with the traditions of English high society and they find themselves clashing with the culture and strict social codes.
Adam James starred as Colonel Tracy St. George.
The series returns in 2025.
