The 18th century set show sees Dick Turpin become the reluctant leader of a band of outlaws who together set out on a journey of wildly absurd escapades, all the while trying to outwit corrupt lawman and self-appointed thief-taker Jonathan Wilde (Bonneville).
Geoff McGivern played series regular Lord Rookwood, with Sutara Gayle and Laura Checkley also making guest appearances in episodes 1 & 3, playing Lizzy the Fish and Sandra respectively.
