2008 film starring Keira Knightley as 18th Century fashionable aristocrat Georgiana, the Duchess of Devonshire who is shunned from society after she has an affair with an upcoming Whig politician, played by Dominic Cooper. Also stars Ralph Fiennes as the Duke of Devonshire. The film won an Academy Award for costume design, as well as BAFTA, BIFA and Golden Globe nominations.
