4-part Sky One mini-series broadcast in 2009 based on the novel by Martina Cole.
Follows criminal sociopath Freddie Jackson (played by Tom Hardy) who has recently been released from prison and starts to re-build his crime empire, along with his younger cousin Jimmy (played by Shaun Evans). Freddie's wife Jackie grows increasingly jealous as her sister Maggie (played by Charlotte Riley) has fallen in love with Jimmy and she watches as Jimmy and Maggie achieve all the dreams she and Freddie have failed to realise.
