Two part BBC drama series telling the real life stories of three families affected by the legal system in Northern Ireland before their restrictive abortion laws were lifted in 2019. From a mother being prosecuted by the police for helping her teenage daughter to a newly married couple whose delight about their pregnancy is ruined when the foetus is discovered to have a fatal foetal abnormality, the series approaches the subject of legal termination from different perspectives.
