White Rabbit Red Rabbit (@Soho Place, 2024) - Credits

Experimental play which sees a different actor performing every night. There are no rehearsals and no director...the actor walks on stage to find only the script waiting in a sealed envelope.

The official synopsis for the play reads "Forbidden to leave his country, playwright Nassim Soleimanpour distilled the experience of an entire generation in a wild, utterly original play. White Rabbit Red Rabbit is as much about contemporary Iran as it is about power dynamics in the rest of the world."  But with a different actor for each performance, every show is very different depending on how the author’s words compel each actor to perform.

The play premiered in 2011, with this production running in 2024 at London's @SohoPlace featuring big names such as Omari Douglas, Nick Mohammed, Michael Sheen, Daisy Edgar-Jones, Keith Allen, Alan Davies, Minnie Driver, Stephen Merchant and Sir Lenny Henry.

Since its inception the play has been performed over 3,000 times by some of the biggest names in theatre and film.
