'Hedda' is a brand new re-imagining of Henrik Ibsen's timeless masterpiece 'Hedda Gabler' which opens tonight at Bath's Theatre Royal.
Adapted and directed by multiple Tony & Olivier nominee Matthew Dunster, the play stars Lily Allen in the title role. Imogen Stubbs also stars playing the role of Julia, the kind and well-meaning aunt of Hedda's husband George, who raised him after his parents died. Julia (based on Aunt Juliana from the original play) clashes often with Hedda, hinting regularly that they should try for a baby.
The impressive cast also includes Ciarán Owens as Hedda's husband George, Brendan Coyle as Brack and Tom Austen as Jasper.
On until 23rd August, tickets for the play are completely sold-out.
