Amy Gledhill and Ian Smith are live at London's The Bill Murray tonight, Thursday 15th February, with a special live performance of their comedy podcast 'Northern News'.
They launched the podcast in 2023, as two Northerners living in London, keen to share the most juicy stories from their hometowns. In this live performance they will be scouring the local rags of the North to find the stories you didn’t know you needed to know.
For example, who’s tipped to win big at the World Gravy Wrestling Championships? Is there a pig in Goole that needs coaxing off a mini-roundabout with crisps? Get the scoop on the hottest, creepiest, and downright peculiar news stories from the North.
Tickets for tonight's show are sold-out but you can listen to the show on Apple, Spotify or wherever you get your podcasts. The show has been so in demand that they are also returning to The Bill Murray on 26th March with limited tickets still available.
