The Thief, His Wife and The Canoe has been gripping viewers on ITV this week. The series tells the true story of John Darwin who faked his own death for the insurance money, as well as the part played in the deception by his wife Anne. The final episode airs at 9pm tonight, Wednesday 20th April, on ITV and shows how Anne became complicit in the deception as the case goes to trial.
Milo Twomey plays the part of David Waters, her defence barrister as she pleads not guilty at the trial.
