Netflix has announced that their Bridgerton prequel spin-off 'Queen Charlottte: A Bridgerton Story' will premiere on Thursday 4th May. The 6-part limited series, written by Shonda Rhimes, will chart young Queen Charlotte's rise to prominence and power.
Golda Rosheuvel and Adjoa Andoh will both reprise their respective roles as Queen Charlotte and Lady Danbury, with Cyril Nri joining the cast as Lord Danbury, Lady Danbury's husband.
India Amarteifio will play young Queen Charlotte with Arsema Thomas playing young Lady Danbury.
