Liverpool's St George's Hall was the venue for last night's star-studded red carpet premiere of the second series of BAFTA winning prison drama 'Time'. Series Two is set in a women's prison and features a completely new cast which includes Faye McKeever.  She was joined on the red carpet by co-stars Bella Ramsey and Julie Graham, as well as writers Helen Black and Jimmy McGovern (all pictured).

In an interview outside the premiere she talked about her character describing her as the villain who "stirs up a load of violence in the prison".

She went on to say, "I was a bit of a scally when I was about 13 so I just remembered that and channelled my inner scally and then went full hog and was like this is really liberating doing something completely different."

"No make up, tattoos on my face, I've got a bandage on, I've got a bit of a limp going on. Just a completely different character to what I've played before."

Watch the interview in full.

Also joining the show for Series Two will be Jodie Whittaker and Tamara Lawrance.  Siobhan Finneran is the only returning cast member from the first series which starred Sean Bean and Stephen Graham.  Series One won the 2021 BAFTA for Best Mini-Series with Sean Bean winning the BAFTA for Leading Actor.

The BBC hasn't announced when the new show will hit our TV screens, but it is expected to be very soon.
