Marching Powder is the brand new film from director Nick Love, which sees him reunited with Danny Dyer who starred in his previous films 'The Business' and 'The Football Factory'. The film has had a release date of 31st January 2025 revealed.
The official synopsis for the film describes it as "a hilarious, poignant and action-packed big screen comedy-drama. The film follows the story of Jack Jones (Danny Dyer), an ageing, drug-taking football hooligan who feels increasingly irrelevant in today’s society as he struggles to keep his family together. Hooked on drugs and adrenaline; and struggling to resist the pull of his firm of fellow football fans, Jack is arrested after some violent matchday exploits and given six weeks to turn his life around, or else face a long spell in prison."
Janet Kumah has a major role in the film, playing Gloria. Not much about her role has been revealed, but we surmise from the trailer that she is a probation officer or social worker trying to keep Jack on the straight and narrow.
Janet Kumah is available for voiceovers from Anthea Represents. Click her image for her profile page and voiceover showreel.
