Landscapers tells the true story of an ordinary couple Susan and Christopher Edwards who are convicted of murder after the bodies of Susan's parents are dug up in their back garden. Olivia Colman stars as Susan with David Thewlis playing the part of her husband Christopher. Leila Farzad will appear as Beckett QC in the four-part darkly comic drama which will be available on Sky Atlantic and NOW from Tuesday 7th December.
The series explores what led these two ordinary people to shoot Susan's parents and then bury them in their garden. The crime wasn't discovered for over a decade with the couple's eventual arrest & conviction coming 16 years after the crime was committed.
The story was written by Olivia Colman's husband Ed Sinclair. using extensive research and hours of interviews with those connected to the case.
