Leila is a BAFTA nominated actress for her supporting role opposite Billie Piper as Naomi in ‘I Hate Suzie’.

2021 saw her with a role in the blackly comic 'Landscapers' on Sky Atlantic alongside Olivia Colman and David Thewlis, telling the true story of an ordinary couple accused of murder after the bodies of her parents are dug up in their back garden.  In 2022 she stars in the Sky Original thriller 'The Fear Index' based on the novel by Robert Harris, playing 'Gabby Hoffman', the wife of lead character 'Dr Alex Hoffman', played by Josh Harnett.

Other major TV credits include ‘Innocent’ (ITV), ‘This Time with Alan Partridge’ (BBC) and HBO’s sci-fi comedy ‘Avenue 5’.

Her stage credits are extensive, including recent roles in ‘Richard III’ at Shakespeare’s Globe and the London Theatre Company’s production of ‘Julius Caesar’.

Her voice will also be familiar from her recurring part as both Mummy Cat and Mummy Pony on ‘Peppa Pig’.

Her native accent is neutral/RP but she also does excellent English with Italian, French or Arabic accents. She is bi-lingual French and fluent in Italian & Farsi.
