It has been announced that Top Boy and Empire of Light star Micheal Ward has been cast in 'Eddington', a brand new film which has recently started production in New Mexico.
Very little has been revealed about the movie except that it will be a 'contemporary Western' and also stars Emma Stone, Joaquin Phoenix and Austin Butler. The plot follows “a small-town New Mexico sheriff with higher aspirations.”
No further official details have been released although World of Reel claims to have exclusive insight about the story revealing that the film is about "a couple (Lindsay and Marc) driving through New Mexico, on their way to Los Angeles, who run out of gas just outside of small town Eddington, New Mexico. Lindsay and Marc decide to enter the town for help. They are, at first, greeted very warmly, but, as nightfall comes, the picturesque setting soon turns into a nightmare."
The film is written and directed by celebrated director Ari Aster (Midsommar, Hereditary).
