This will be the third instalment of the epic movie series with most of cast from the previous films returning to their roles. French-British actress Poppy Corby-Tuech will return as the mysterious French witch Vinda Rosier, who is one of Grindelwald's most loyal followers.
Eddie Redmayne will again star as Newt Scamander and Jude Law returns as Albus Dumbledore. The main change to the line up will be the replacement of Johnny Depp by Mads Mikkelson in the role of dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald. David Yates will also return as the film's director.
The film is set in the 1930s and will portray the role of the Wizarding world in the run up to the Second World War. Warner Bros has confirmed a release date of 8th April 2022.
