Amazon's new sci-fi drama series 'The Peripheral' is scheduled for a premiere date of Friday 21st October. The 8-part series, based on the dystopian novel by William Gibson, will launch on Prime Video.
The series explores two future time periods – one, in near-future small-town America, and the other, in the early 22nd century after an apocalyptic period known as the Jackpot has taken place. The story is primarily focused on Flynne Fisher (played by Chloe Grace Moretz) who lives in the near future and earns extra cash by playing virtual reality video games for the wealthy. In one of the games she is transported to London, 70 years in the future, where she witnesses a murder.
Award winning actress T'Nia Miller (The Haunting of Bly Manor, Years and Years) plays the role of arch protagonist Cherise, with Poppy Corby-Tuech (Fantastic Beasts, Harlots) playing Mariel and Anjli Mohindra (The Suspect, Vigil) starring in the later episodes as Beatrice.
T'Nia Miller, Poppy Corby-Tuech and Anjli Mohindra are all available for voiceovers from Anthea Represents. Click their images for their profile pages and voiceover showreels.
