Norah Lopez-Holden has been shortlisted in the Broadway World UK Awards as Best Supporting Performer in a New Production of a Play

Norah's nomination is for her critically-lauded performance of Ophelia in last year's production of Hamlet at the Young Vic.  She starred opposite Cush Jumbo who played Hamlet, in the gender-blind production from Greg Hersov.

The show was universally praised by critics with Norah's stand-out performance highlighted by many.  The Guardian called her "magnificent" and WhatsOnStage declared her as "one of the best Ophelias I have ever seen". The New York Times described Norah's performance as 'clear and confident' with 'attitude' and 'quite extraordinary'.

The Broadway World Awards are the largest theatre audience awards, with over 100 cities worldwide participating.  Voting for the UK/West End Awards is open until Friday, 22 March, with the winners announced soon afterwards.  Click here to see the full nominations and to cast your vote.
