The first episode in a brand new trilogy of films inspired by the 2008 cult horror movie 'The Strangers' is out in UK cinemas tomorrow, Friday 17th May.
The film 'The Strangers: Chapter 1' tells the story of a young couple on a road trip across the USA when their car breaks down in a rural town in Oregon, forcing them to spend the night in an isolated cabin in the woods. Things quickly get sinister when a group of three masked strangers turn up at the cabin and begin to terrorise the couple.
Richard Brake stars as Sheriff Rotter, the local law enforcement officer.
This is the first in a series of 3 standalone films which follows the same premise to the original 2008 film and acts as a prequel to that film. The next two instalments are due for release later in 2024.
