The highly anticipated season 3 of 'The Great' returns to our screens from today, Friday 12th May. The satirical black comedy drama tells a fictionalised version of the rise of Catherine the Great and her marriage to Emperor Peter III of Russia.
Sacha Dhawan is back as Count Orlo, a member of Peter III's court and a loyal advisor to Catherine. Bayo Gbadamosi also reprises his role as Lord Arkady who too is a member of the court and a close ally of the Emperor.
The season 3 synopsis tells us that the series will focus on Peter and Catherine's marriage as they attempt to make it work despite some seemingly unsurmoutable problems.
