'In The Game for Ukraine' is a 6-hour live streamed global event which will take place on Saturday 7th May. The event will feature well-known voice actors who have voiced some of the most famous characters in award-winning video games.
The fundraiser will raise money for the Red Cross's Ukraine Crisis Appeal and is being organised by Side London and video game news site IGN. Shai Matheson is known for voicing the fan-favourite, South American inspired character 'Sylvando' in Dragon Quest XI.
Along with other well-known voice actors, Shai will deliver live readings from some of his most memorable performances and the stream will feature interviews and behind-the-scenes stories about what it takes to bring such well-loved characters to life.
Sini Downing, head of studio, SIDE London said, "Our goal is to combine the global love of games and the talent in them, together in a powerful event to benefit Ukraine".
The global live stream will be available across IGN's channels on Saturday 7th May and during the show viewers will be asked to donate funds to the Ukraine appeal.
