Brand new BBC One drama 'Nightsleeper' starts this Sunday night, 15th September at 9pm. The 6-parter is set in 'real-time' on an overnight sleeper train from London to Glasgow. The drama unfolds as the passengers and crew realise the train they are on is the target of a major terrorist cyber-attack.
Sharon Small plays Transport Secretary Liz Draycot, who is already struggling with negative press coverage, when she finds herself thrown into the centre of the Government's response to the crisis.
The cast is led by Joe Cole who plays off-duty police detective Joe Roag who becomes the main point of contact for the cybersecurity service, and Alexandra Roach who plays Abby Aysgarth, the acting technical director at the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) and one of the first people alerted when fears of a cyber attack begin to grow.
The drama has been written by and produced by BAFTA winner Nick Leather.
