BAFTA and Emmy nominated Gangs of London is one of Sky Original's biggest successes of the last few years and will return to Sky Atlantic later this year. The show follows the fates of London's most powerful crime family, the Wallace Dumani crime syndicate and is set against a backdrop of gang warfare in present day London.
Sopé Dirisu plays undercover cop Elliot Finch, who has infiltrated the Wallace family organisation. Series 2 will kick off one year after the end of series 1, following the death of Sean Wallace and the collapse of the Wallace Dumani empire, with Elliot forced to work for 'The Investors'.
In Sky's synopsis of the new series we are told, "Old favourites and new players fight back against the new order, forcing sworn enemies to work together and family members to betray each other. Who will win the battle for London’s soul?"
Elliot Finch stars in the trailer asking, "Do you think you know this world you're in?...Really?" He goes on: "I've seen things you haven't. Do you know how it feels to be powerless? How it feels to be a pawn in someone else's game? The things it makes you do...What does it feel like, to be a king?"
