Sutara Gayle and Samuel Barnett both won major awards at last night’s Offies (Off West End Theatre Awards)

The Offies took place last night at London's Woolwich Works and the star-studded event saw two of our artists take home major awards.

Sutara Gayle won the Performance Piece Award for her show 'The Legends of Them' which was her debut show as a writer-performer.  The critically acclaimed show ran last year at Brixton House and was described by critics as "brimming with effortless charisma" and "original, unique and entertaining".

Samuel Barnett won the Solo Performance in a Play Award for one-man show 'Feeling Afraid As If Something Terrible Is Going To Happen'.  The play won multiple awards at the Edinburgh Festival, followed by a sell-out run at London's Bush Theatre. Critics heaped praise on Samuel's "faultless execution" and described it as "a masterclass in comic delivery."
