Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York), starring Dujonna Gift, opens tonight in the West End

West End star Dujonna Gift plays the female lead in the sensational new musical 'Two Strangers (Carry A Cake Across New York)' which opens at the West End's Criterion Theatre tonight, Thursday 4th April.

The play received stand-out reviews when it ran at the Kiln Theatre in 2023 and promises to take the West End by storm with its limited 3 month run.

Dujonna stars as Robin, a streetwise, cynical New York barista whose sister is about to get married.  Then she meets Douglas (played by Sam Tutty), a naive, impossibly upbeat Brit who arrives in the Big Apple to attend his dad's second wedding. When Robin is sent to collect him from the airport she instantly finds him childish and annoying but with the wedding fast approaching, the Big Apple at their feet and a cake to collect, anything could happen.
