The BBC/World Productions crime drama series is set on board a nuclear submarine which becomes the subject of a murder investigation when a crew member is found dead.  Lorne MacFadyen plays crewman Lieutenant Matthew Doward, who is eventually revealed as a Russian spy, and Anjli Mohindra plays Lieutenant Tiffany Docherty who is the doctor on board. The series also starred Suranne Jones as the detective sent to the submarine to investigate.

The Rockie Awards take place every year at the famous Banff World Media Festival and are considered one of the the most prestigious awards around.  Entries from more than 45 countries competed this year and the winners were selected by an international industry jury of 150+ senior entertainment and media professionals.  Vigil was chosen as the Best English Drama Series in the awards which took place earlier this week.

Vigil was also nominated for two BAFTA Awards earlier this year.

The 6-part series was broadcast on BBC One in 2021, but is still available on BBC iPlayer.

Right now you can see Anjli Mohindra in The Lazarus Project which started on Sky Max last night and Lorne MacFadyen in Pistol, currently streaming on Disney +.  Both Anjli and Lorne are available for voiceovers from Anthea Represents.  Click their images for their profile pages & voiceover showreels.
