8-part Apple TV+ drama series which was released in early 2024 and starred Peter Capaldi as DCI Daniel Hegarty, a senior officer who led the investigation into the high profile murder of Adelaide Burrows and the conviction of her killer Errol Mathis. However when the conviction is challenged by June Lenker, a junior police officer played by Cush Jumbo, he becomes determined to protect his own legacy.
What follows is a tug-of-war between Hegarty and Lenker, with the latter convinced that an innocent man may be locked up due to an old high-profile case being mishandled by the respected detective.
Stephen Campbell Moore also starred as Leo Hanratty, June's therapist husband, who dismisses his wife's apprehensions about the case.
Janet Kumah also had a major role, playing Latisha, as did Steffan Cennydd who played junior police officer DC Jed Stanning.
