ITV period drama series starring Karla-Simone Spence as Frannie Langton, a young girl born into a life of slavery. The film is based on the debut novel by Sara Collins, is set in Georgian London and follows Frannie's journey from a plantation in Jamaica to the dazzling Mayfair mansion of famous scientist George Benyon and his beautiful wife Marguerite where she is employed as a maid. However, the story takes a horrific turn when the Benyons are found murdered in their beds and Frannie is accused and sent to prison, despite having no recollection of the night it happened. Also stars Sophie Cookson as Marguerite and Stephen Campbell Moore as George Benham.
