Sophie was propelled to fame when she landed the female lead in ‘Kingsman: The Secret Service’ in 2015, as well as it’s sequel ‘The Golden Circle’ in 2017. She was nominated for an Empire Award in 2015 for ‘Best Female Newcomer’ for this role.
She is instantly recognisable for her critically-acclaimed title role in the BBC drama series ‘The Trial of Christine Keeler’ which told the story of Christine Keeler, who found herself at the heart of 'The Profumo Affair', a political sex scandal that rocked Britain in the 1960s.
In 2024 she starred as the female lead in British rom-com film 'This Time Next Year' which was released on digital platforms including Prime and Apple TV+.
In 2022 she starred in the ITVX period drama 'The Confessions of Frannie Langton' set in Georgian London which tells the story of a Jamaican slave girl sold to the opulent mansion of George Benham and his wife Marguerite (played by Sophie), but events take a horrible turn when Benham & Marguerite are found murdered and Frannie is accused and sent to prison.
She starred alongside Adrian Brody as Johanna of Ghent in the 2022 action epic 'Emperor'.
