Series 2 of Apple TV+ period drama 'The Buccaneers' starts today, Wednesday 18th June, with the first episode available to stream now.
The new 8-part series sees Adam James return to his starring role as Colonel Tracy St George, the unkind and abusive husband of Christina Hendricks's character Patti. Series Two sees the couple separated, with Patti desperate to divorce her husband, but Tracy will not agree, leading to a public and humiliating court trial.
'The Buccaneers' revolves around five wealthy and ambitious American girls who arrive in London in the 1870s, known as 'The Gilded Age'. It is based on the unfinished novel of the same name by Edith Wharton. Adam's character Tracy St George is the father of two of the girls, leading characters Annabel (known as Nan) and Jinny. The second series sees the girls fully settled in England with Nan now married to the Duke of Tintagel, making her the most powerful woman in the country. Jinny meanwhile is on every front page, wanted for the kidnap of her unborn child.
