BBC Studios has announced its cast for upcoming fantasy drama series 'Crookhaven'. The cast will include Genesis Lynea as series regular, 'Whisper'.
The 8-part series is an adaptation of the children's book series by J.J. Arcanjo. Filming is underway and release is expected some time in 2026 on BBC iPlayer.
Genesis will star alongside Dougray Scott who will play Caspian Lockett, headmaster and leader of the mysterious Crookhaven School, where the best young crooks from around the world are taught how to use their skills for good and do what is right. The students will hone their skills in disciplines such as deception, crim-nastics, forgery and lock picking.
The family adventure series will focus on pickpocket Gabriel and his rival Penelope, the headmaster's daughter, as well as a number of other young international students as they compete for the Crooked Cup.
Genesis's character Whisper is co-head of the school, a celebrated hacker who trains her students in acquiring unmatchable hacking skills.
