AK Golding stars as worldly, sophisticated Isabella Thorpe (Iz) in a brand new production of Northanger Abbey, inspired by the novel by Jane Austen

Richmond's Orange Tree Theatre's brand new production of Northanger Abbey opens tonight, Saturday 20th January and runs until 24th February. 

The play stars AK Golding as the worldly, sophisticated Isabella Thorpe, known to her friends as Iz, who befriends the naive Catherine Morland (Rebecca Banatvala), a newcomer to  Bath society. The play is inspired by the novel by Jane Austen.  

The play opens tonight at the Orange Tree Theatre in Richmond, Surrey, and will then tour the UK visiting Bolton's Octagon Theatre from 1st-23rd March, Scarborough's Stephen Joseph Theatre from 27th March-13th April, and Keswick's Theatre by the Lake, from 27th April-17th May.
