Amy James-Kelly has been nominated in the Breakthrough Talent category at this year's Edinburgh TV Awards. The prestigious award is for her role as Rachel in Channel 4's 'Everyone Else Burns' which has also received a nomination for Best Comedy Series.
The 6-part comedy was shown on Channel 4 earlier this year and also starred Simon Bird as the overbearing father of a family who are members of a religious Christian cult in Manchester. Amy played Rachel, the teenage daughter, who dreams of a life away from her puritanical family.
The Edinburgh TV Awards are part of the Edinburgh TV Festival which takes place every year in August and shines a light on the best of the TV industry. The winners will be crowned on Thursday 24th August in Edinburgh. See the full list of nominees.
