AK Golding's Edinburgh show 'Move Fast and Break Things' has received outstanding accolades from audiences

AK Golding is starring in the Freight Theatre's new production of 'Move Fast and Break Things' at Tech Cube Zero, Summerhall until 14th August.  The experimental new play tells the story of Amit Patel, who invented Search and made Google $1.7 trillion...and then disappeared off the face of the internet.

The play only features two cast members, AK Golding and Julia Pilkington who play a couple who are on a mission to track him down.  The innovative play uses a multitude of media – including live projection, physical theatre, and even puppetry.

Audience reviews for the play on Twitter are outstanding with many saying it's their favourite show of the Festival.  Comments include, "An intricate, beguiling, terrifying gut-punch. And two genuinely extraordinary performances"; "Big data & the dark heart of the internet. Very clever writing, great acting, ingenious AV & smart directing. A must see 5* show"; "thought-provoking, disturbing snd darkly comic. Could be the sleeper hit of #edfringe if word of mouth takes off" and finally "(Freight Theatre) have properly blown it out the park this time - disturbing, funny & overwhelming (in the good way), w incredible performances, and beautiful video & design go go go go go".

The play has also received a 5 star rating from The Recs who call it "powerful and thought-provoking" and "must-see", with "trememdous" performances from both actors.

AK Golding graduated from the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School in 2019 and was winner of the prestigious Peter Ackerman Award, given annually for outstanding comedy performances.  She is available for voiceovers from Anthea Represents.  She is from the East Midlands and has a native Derby accent.
