Annabel Mullion narrates 'The Queen and the Traitor: A Great British Scandal' which debuts on Channel 5 tomorrow night, Saturday 12th April

Must-watch documentary 'The Queen and the Traitor: A Great British Scandal' premieres tomorrow night, Saturday 12th April, at 7.45pm on Channel 5.

The 90-minute single investigates how the Queen was embroiled in scandal when a trusted insider was exposed as a spy.  Anthony Blunt was the late Queen's trusted art historian who also worked for her father King George VI and was a third cousin of the Queen Mother.  But he was also one of the 'Cambridge Five' spy ring, working for the KGB. The documentary reveals that royal insiders knew the truth about Blunt's treachery long before it was made public.  It is widely believed that the Royal Family was willing to turn a blind eye to Blunt's espionage due to the fact that he almost certainly had classified information about the family themselves.  He was knighted in 1956.

The documentary is narrated by Annabel Mullion and produced by Mentorn Media.
