Máiréad Tyers has a major role in brand new Amazon Prime satirical comedy series 'My Lady Jane' which premieres on Thursday 27th June.
She stars as Susannah, the swashbuckling best friend of Lady Jane. The 8-part series is a historical re-imagining of events if Lady Jane Grey hadn't been executed in the 16th Century. In the official synopsis it is described as an "epic tale of true love, high adventure, regicidal maniacs, deadpan heroism, devious intrigues, swashbuckling swordfights, a soupçon of magical realism and oodles of sex".
It boasts an impressive cast, led by Emily Bader in the title role, alongside Rob Brydon and Anna Chancellor who play her parents Lord and Lady Dudley, as well as Dominic Cooper and Jim Broadbent who star as Lord Seymour and Lord Leicester respectively.
