New drama 'The Castaways' premieres on Channel 5 on Sunday night, 26th January, and sees Céline Buckens starring as one of the leads, Erin.
The 5-part thriller sees Céline starring opposite Sheridan Smith as sisters Erin and Lori who embark on a dream holiday to Fiji. However Erin fails to board their short local flight following an argument and is subsequently horrified when she hears that the plane has crashed into the Pacific with Lori on board.
When the desperate search for survivors is eventually called off Erin refuses to give up hope. Months after the crash, Lori’s credit card is used in a corner shop in a remote village in Fiji and on the CCTV Erin recognises the plane’s pilot, back from the dead. She immediately heads back to Fiji to learn what really happened to her sister.
The drama will air nightly at 9pm every night from January 26th until January 30th, and each episode will also be available to stream on Channel5.com after broadcast.
