Tatler has published its list of the top British actors to watch for 2023. Their annual 'Bright Young Things' list showcases an "elite crop of keen, green, extremely talented British actors who are bursting through".
This year the list crowns 16 of the next generation of glam, gifted actors to watch. Céline Buckens, Freddy Carter and Sofia Oxenham have all made the list.
Céline is known for her starring role as Talitha Campbell in Showtrial, a role which earned her a BAFTA and Emmy nomination. In 2023 she stars in The Ex Wife and The Castaways on Paramount Plus. Her early career included major roles in War Horse and Free Rein.
Freddy plays leading character Kaz Brekker in Netflix's hit fantasy drama series Shadow and Bone. He is also due to star in the upcoming Spielberg/Hanks WWII series 'Masters of the Air', out early 2024.
Sofia is best known for starring in the Disney + super-hero series 'Extraordinary', with Series 2 currently in production.
