Sofia Oxenham is an hugely talented actress who has an impressive list of TV credits to her name, including playing one of the leads in the popular Disney+ action comedy series ‘Extraordinary’.  The show is set in a world where everyone has their own superpower and is produced by the team behind Killing Eve.  Sofia plays anxiety-ridden legal assistant Carrie who can communicate with the dead.  Described by The Guardian as “Disney’s Encanto for grownups. Or Derry Girls with superpowers” and by iNews as “surreal and subversive, funny and filthy”. A second series was released in 2024.

Also in 2024 she played Princess Eugenie in 'A Very Royal Scandal', the Prime Video 3-part dramatisation of the infamous Prince Andrew & Emily Maitlis Newsnight interview, starring opposite Michael Sheen, Ruth Wilson and Claire Rushbrook.

Previously she starred as Eydis in the 2020 Netflix fantasy drama series ‘Cursed’ and she also had a major role in the fifth series of ‘Poldark’, playing Demelza Poldark’s troublesome servant Tess Tregidden.

She has also had roles in the AMC romantic sci-fi drama series ‘Soulmates’, the BBC One 2020 adaptation of ‘Dracula’ and the long-running series ‘Doc Martin’ and ‘Grantchester’.

She naturally speaks with a neutral/RP accent. Her Cornish accent is also excellent as she grew up in the South West and her mother is from Cornwall.  Also confident in Australian (her father is from there) and standard American.
