ITVX is now streaming action comedy series 'Extraordinary' and true-crime drama series 'Under the Banner of Heaven', both of which were only previously available on Disney+.
Sofia Oxenham stars as Carrie, one of the leads in 'Extraordinary', which is set in a world where everyone has their own superpower. Carrie is an anxiety-ridden legal assistant who can communicate with the dead who is best friends with Jen who is the only person they know who hasn't yet been given a superpower. The series is produced by the team behind Killing Eve and was described by The Guardian as “Disney’s Encanto for grownups. Or Derry Girls with superpowers”. Sofia has just finished filming Series 2 which is due out on 6th March.
Chloe Pirrie stars as Matilda Lafferty in the Emmy & Golden Globe nominated crime drama series ‘Under the Banner of Heaven’ about the brutal murder of a mother and baby seemingly connected to the Mormon church in Utah. It also stars Daisy Edgar-Jones and Andrew Garfield.
