Céline Buckens stars as Sofiya in brand new Hulu thriller series 'The Kollective' which is out today, 10th June in the US. No UK release date has been announced but it is expected to land on Disney+ sometime later this year.
The 6-episode series follows a group of young citizen journalists who become suspicious when their colleague is killed in a deadly plane crash in the Congo. Their hunt for answers leads them down a trail of government corruption and political cover-ups which takes them across Europe from Budapest and St. Petersburg in the East to London in the West. The official synopsis reads "The Kollective is an electrifying tale of relentless journalism and the human cost of exposing the truth in a world ruled by lies." The series is inspired by the investigative journalist group Bellingcat.
Céline stars alongside fellow British actors Natascha McElhone and Gregg Sulkin.
Although the series isn't available in the UK yet, the trailer gives a sneak peak of what to expect.
