Charlotte Riley is to star in a newly announced BBC drama series entitled 'Babies' which has just started filming in London.
The 6-parter is described as a "warm and touching drama which explores the delicate tightrope of love and loss in a young couple's desire to become parents”. It will be shown on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
Her role is as yet unconfirmed but she will co-star with Paapa Essiedu, Siobhán Cullen and Jack Bannon. The series is written and created by two-time BAFTA winning writer Stefan Golaszewski, who won his BAFTAs for penning comedy series 'Mum' and 'Him & Her'.
