Austin's SXSW Film and TV Festival kicks off this weekend and two of our artists have films premiering at the Festival.
Chloe Pirrie stars in psycho-thriller 'Kryptic' which will have its premiere on Sunday night as part of the Midnighter screening section. The film's synopsis says it's about "a woman’s search for a missing monster hunter and her growing realisation that she is inescapably linked to the creature being pursued." Máiréad Tyers stars in short film 'Meat Puppet' which also premieres on Sunday night as part of the Midnight Short Competition. "Oz misses his girlfriend's graduation while playing with toys. A puppet arrives that imprisons Oz's soul, leaving his dying body. To save his relationship and survive, Oz must grow up" reads the film's synopsis.
The SXSW Film & TV Festival is in its 31st year and runs for 9 days in March in Austin, Texas each year. It is described as "an unparalleled experience at the forefront of discovery, creativity, and innovation". Find out more about the Festival.
