ITVX's latest must-watch drama 'Litvinenko' is released in full today, Thursday 15th December. The 4-part series tells the true story of the poisoning of the Russian spy Alexander Litvinenko in 2006, and the subsequent investigation that followed. The Met Police investigation was one of the biggest ever undertaken, and took some incredible detective work by police officers to uncover the truth.
Daniel Ryan plays one of those officers, Deputy Assistant Commissioner of the Met Police, Peter Clarke, who headed the police response to "a chemical attack on the United Kingdom".
The drama also focuses upon the story of Litvinenko's wife Marina, who fought tirelessly to persuade the British Government to publicly name her husband’s killers and acknowledge the role of the Russian State in his murder.
The series is written by acclaimed screenwriter George Kay (creator of the smash hit crime thriller Lupin) and has been produced with the support of many of the key individuals involved in the investigation and subsequent public inquiry, along with Alexander’s family.
Daniel Ryan is available for voiceovers from Anthea Represents. Click his image for his profile page and voiceover showreel.
