David Morrissey and Sọpẹ́ Dìrísù have both received nominations for Best Drama Performance at the National Television Awards

The National Television Award nominees have been announced with both David Morrissey and Sọpẹ́ Dìrísù shortlisted for their incredible performances in Sherwood and Gangs of London respectively.

David Morrissey has been chosen for his performance as DCS Ian St Clair, the lead detective in charge of the investigation into a brutal murder in a small mining village in Nottinghamshire. Sọpẹ́ Dìrísù has been chosen for his leading role as undercover cop Elliot Finch in the award winning Sky Atlantic crime drama.

First round voting is open now and closes at 11pm on Friday 2nd June.  The awards will take place on Tuesday 5th September at the O2.
