Dominique Tipper stars as British intelligence agent Smith in action thriller film 'One Ranger' which is released tomorrow, Friday 5th May.
The film sees her character partnered with a gunslinging Texas ranger, played by Thomas Jane, who she last appeared with in Amazon's hit sci-fi series 'The Expanse'. The pair are brought together to hunt down an international terrorist in the heart of London. The film also stars John Malkovich as her boss.
In a recent interview Dominique described her character as, "very tough. very ballsy...very bold. I think she's very smart and savvy. And cunning and fun. Actually, I think it's quite a serious role. But I think she gets it done in a way that's got a bit of flair. And I really enjoyed that about her. I think she's a match as well, for everybody that she comes across. She's no wallflower".
She also talked about how she jumped at the chance to work with Thomas again when he approached her to star in the film saying, "Didn't know what the role was, read the script, and I was like, "Oh, you want me to be opposite you?" And it's a bit of like a buddy cop thing, so the chance to do that with Thomas Jane? I was just like, "Sign me up immediately. You being a cowboy? And me a British cop slash skinhead? I'm in".
One Ranger is released in selected cinemas nationwide tomorrow, Friday 5th May and will also be available on all major streaming platforms. Watch the trailer.
