Eva Pope is to star as Val in 'The Snail House', created and directed by Richard Eyre, and opening at London's Hampstead Theatre tomorrow night, Wednesday 7th September.
The play tells the story of Sir Neil Marriot, known to millions as the Government's medical advisor during the pandemic, and earning himself a knighthood in the process. However his life takes a sinister turn when he throws himself a lavish birthday party at which his family are at each others throats again, and one of the catering staff looks eerily familiar.... Eva's character Val is Sir Neil's wife.
The play is written and directed by celebrated director Richard Eyre, who was Artistic Director of the National Theatre from 1988 to 1997. It is his first completely original play.
The play runs from Wednesday 7th September until Saturday 15th October. Tickets available now.
